The AP Racing CP9449 caliper brings competition-proven engineering to your F8X rear axle. This four-piston design pairs with fully floating 380x30mm race discs to maximise thermal efficiency and minimise fade during sustained braking events. The floating rotor architecture isolates heat from the hub, allows for free thermal expansion and reduces unsprung mass. Domed stainless steel pistons reduce heat transfer into the brake fluid and the increased caliper stiffness, combined with anti knockback springs translates to sharper brake response and improved modulation. This is a genuine upgrade for serious track work.
Rear kit pairs well with our F8X front kit (available here). Providing matching discs & calipers, low consumable cost, balanced braking and all the benefits of our front kits. Brackets and calipers are available separately if you prefer to run an OEM 2NH disc.
